PESHAWAR: City division police on Wednesday crack downed against 9 bandit robbers. The robbers were accused of changing the chassis numbers of cars and involved in changing the IMEI number of mobiles to sell in Afghanistan, Police officials told BOL News.

The crackdown was done with the coalition with Bahana Mari station, Faqeerabad Station, Pahari Pura, Phando station, and Agha Meer Jani Shah police station. The accused robbers were Mohsin, Nadir, Ahsan Ullah, Aamir, Usman, Asif, Faheem, Nouman, and Saddam. These accused robbers used to rob mobile phones, cars, and motorcycles.
The suspects were accepted to be part of several crimes after initial investigations. A motor car, 15 motorcycles, and 29 mobile phones were recovered, Bol News reports
The police are trying to locate the original owners of the gadgets and vehicles. More investigation is to be carried out to find the other culprits involved in such crimes, police officials told BOL News.
